To all you who missed the first San Diego Beer Week, don’t fret, I know 2010 San Diego Beer Week is already in the works. I had the privilege of working with Melani & Flash Gordon from TapHunter to capture a few special highlights and film a few interviews. Also a special thanks to Eric Addison and Scott Barker for donating their video production and editing time to help me produce this great piece of online video. Here’s to San Diego Beer week becoming an annual event!
This piece was created for a client who wanted a simple kinetic typography video. Using after-effects we produced this word driven online video. This can also be viewed on their homepage goodlikekungfu.com. Don’t you love that name? The best part is asking them how they came up with it. I’ll give you a hint it has nothing to do with martial arts…but I guess you could call them SEO & Website masters.
Dux College duxcollege.com.au/ is a learning institute for high school students located in Sydney, Australia. To keep this project cost-effective the client filmed the footage themselves on a consumer handi-cam and sent us the footage. We edited this 6 video campaign with graphics, music and animation.
Friday night kicked off the first evening of SD Beer Week 2009 during the 6th Annual SD Brewers Guild Fest. It was the official inaugural event featuring amazing craft brews from 23 SD breweries as well as tasty cuisine from local restaurants. Hosted by the SD Brewers Guild, the evening took place in Balboa Park at the World Beat Center.
The evening festivities included tastings, pairings, live music, dancers, a bagpipe band and special guest the San Diego Chicken. We were privileged to film the evening with brew and marketing guru Melani Gordon from TapHunter.com. Stay tuned as we’ll be updating footage and photos soon!
